Flagship Prevention ProjectGlobal Shield:

Culture of Self-Protection. The flagship child abuse prevention project developed by Future & Hope International.

It was created to provide a technical, lasting response to one of the most silent threats in our society: abuse and the lack of self-protection tools in childhood.

Going beyond a protocol on paper, Global Shield transforms school culture by involving the three key members of the school community: teachers, students and families.

Real, Technical and Structured Prevention for Schools

The Numbers Behind the Challenge

The crisis Ecuador has yet to solve

6 girls/day

Girls under 14 forced into motherhood as a result of sexual abuse

1 in 4 children

Sexually abused before turning 18. In 90% of these cases, the abuser belongs to their closest circle

1 in 10 children and teens

Contacted by online predators. Digital violence is happening today, in their own homes

How It Works: The 3 Steps of the Ecosystem

Step 1:

Teacher and Staff Training

We train school staff in early detection protocols, emotional support and the current legal framework to break down the "architecture of silence."

Step 2:

Educational Trilogy
(Students and Families)

We provide coordinated workbooks for children ages 4 to 12 based on the BE – KNOW – DO methodology, along with practical guides so families can reinforce self-protection at home.

Step 3:

School Assessment and Certification

We measure impact with real data from the school community and award the institutional "Protected School" seal.

Self-protection can be taught, and it can be measured.

Answer 6 questions and find out where your school’s culture of self-protection stands today. You will get a clear assessment and a concrete starting point.
Schedule a technical presentation for your school’s leadership team, or support us by funding child self-protection scholarships in vulnerable schools.

Protecting the next generation: let's break the architecture of silence

Schools can now rely on a practical system that goes beyond a policy document.

A methodology proven in practice, not just in theory.

We developed and refined the Global Shield methodology in strategic partnership with Jesss International Christian Academy, which served as the pilot school and educational co-author. This experience allowed us to validate the materials for children ages 4 to 12 and ensure that the culture of self-protection is fully applicable to everyday school life.
