Turning Vulnerability into Hope and a Future
For more than 20 years, we have brought together faith in action, direct social assistance in Ecuador and technical prevention solutions to protect those who need it most.
Born to Serve the Most Vulnerable
Future & Hope International is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 to turn vulnerability into dignity, safety and hope. We were born from the pastoral calling of our founder, Pablo Cabrera, in partnership with U.S. churches such as Grace Community Church, serving as a strong bridge between faith in action and social aid in Ecuador.
Our work addresses human development on two fronts: direct social assistance (support for people with disabilities, trafficking survivors and at-risk children) and technical prevention through our flagship initiative, Global Shield.
Why Is Our Work Urgent?
The Numbers Behind Vulnerability
Of people with cerebral palsy or severe disabilities in vulnerable areas lack access to ongoing therapy and specialized support without the help of partner NGOs such as FUNAPACE.
In at-risk areas face barriers to accessing safe educational environments and community support networks.
Victims of trafficking and violence need safe shelter, comprehensive restoration and social reintegration, which the foundation supports through strategic partnerships such as Fundación DUNAMIS.
